Seattle is served by Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Cab rides from the Sea-Tac airport can take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

Meditation/Quiet Room:

Passengers and airport employees looking for a quiet place away from the busy airport atmosphere now have a dedicated space. The Meditation/Quiet Roomat Sea-Tac Airport is located pre-security on the mezzanine level of the airport above Checkpoint 3, next to the Badging Office and Lost and Found. This room is nondenominational and is open 24/7.

Information for Transgender Travelers:

The Port of Seattle is committed to ensuring that all travelers at Sea-Tac Airport feel respected, comfortable and welcome. Transgender travelersshould feel free to use whichever restroom matches your gender presentation. Sea-Tac Airport has individual gender-inclusive restrooms for your use, and we have a map of these restrooms. The airport is currently in the process of updating the signage, so feel free to use restrooms marked either “family restrooms” or “individual restrooms.”

Parking for Travelers with Disabilities

Available on either the fourth floor (Terminal Direct Parking) or fifth floor (General Parking) of the airport parking garage. Travelers who have problems standing for long periods may want to arrange for wheelchair servicevia their airlines. Rental wheelchairs and baby strollers also are available in the airport from Smarte Carte. Smarte Carteis on the Baggage Claim level under the escalator bank between carousels 12 and 13.

Light Rail

Flying into Seattle? The Link Light Railis the best way to reach downtown Seattle and the meeting hotel (exit at Westlake Station).

  • Purchase tickets before borading at kiosks in the station. Payments may be made by cash or credit card
  • Fares range from from $2.25 to $3.25.
  • Airport to Westlake Station: 38 min
  • Trains are available 5 am to 1 am Monday through Saturday and 6 am to midnight on Sunday
  • Trains run every 6, 10, or 15 minutes depending on time of day

Time: 30-45 minutes (depending on number of drop offs)

Parking

Valet parking at the Sheraton Seattle is $57 per night. Self-parking is $30 per day, with up to three exits per day. The hotel does not have a Conference rate for parking, and a parking spot is not included in the room rate.

Driving

Parking garages near the Sheraton include the US Bank Centre (1420 5th Avenue, $7 min. rate/$35 max) and One Convention Place (701 Pike Street, $5 min. / $31 max). Valet parking at the hotel is $57, daily max.

Alternate Parking Options

Some nearby parking lots are less expensive. Try http://www.bestparking.com and search for Seattle “Retail Core” to locate them and see their rates. Street parking (if available) is $4 per hour Monday through Saturday, free on Sunday.
