We have continued the effort to organize a few childcare options at the 2019 SCMS Conference. Working with the Sheraton Grand Seattle, Visit Seattle: the Seattle CVB, and a few locally owned companies, we have made arrangements with three sitter services.
For more information, including contact numbers, rates, and rules, etc. please follow these links:
Best Sitters Inc
In addition, we have set up a forum for parents who may wish to join forces when booking sitters, or swap childcare amongst themselves, or discuss good child-friendly options (parks, restaurants, etc.) in Seattle. The forum can be found here(you must be signed in to access the forum).
These two online resources might also be helpful. They use technology to help parents find and vet qualified caregivers.
We hope that these options will help parents have a productive and enjoyable conference in Seattle. Unfortunately the conference is not able to provide formal child care services at the meeting.
Disclaimer: SCMS and the Sheraton Grand Seattle assume no responsibility with respect to these services and accepts no liabilities related to the services provided.
If you’re looking for a fellow attendee to share the cost of a hotel room, feel free to post a query to <https://cmstudies.site-ym.com/forums/Topics.aspx?forum=101180>.
ADDITIONAL ROOM OCCUPANTS
Each extra person (beyond 2 occupants) sharing a room will be charged an additional $25 per night. There is no charge for children up to and including the age of 18 years who share with their parents. Maximum occupancy per room (4/room).
